Membership Engagement Coordinator

Overview

The Membership Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and retention of our organization’s membership base. This volunteer will work closely with the Membership Director to implement strategies that enhance member engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing membership engagement initiatives and campaigns.
  • Respond to member inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Membership Director to create compelling membership communications, including newsletters and social media posts.
  • Help organize and promote membership events and activities.
  • Conduct outreach to lapsed members to encourage renewal.
  • Maintain accurate membership records and databases.

Qualifications

  • Passion for our organization’s mission and goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite is a plus.
  • Previous experience in membership engagement or customer service is preferred but not required.

Time Commitment

  • Flexible to accommodate the volunteer’s schedule.

Reporting Structure

The Membership Engagement Coordinator will report to the Membership Director.
