General Meeting Topic – September 2019

We have a special treat for you this month at the Columbus Computer Society. On Wednesday, September 18th, at 7:00 p.m (our next CCS General Membership Meeting), Jim and Chris Guld from “Geeks on Tour” will be our special guests for the evening. Here is a snippet of text copied from their website describing who they are and what they do:
“Jim and Chris Guld are Geeks Who Teach. They’ve both been in the Computer Training and Support industry since the early 80s. Now they live fulltime in a motorhome and tour the country presenting Technology Seminars at RV Rallies, Computer Clubs, and even people’s homes.  For all the info on their life and travels, take a look at their personal travel Blog.”

The topic for the evening will be:
Smartphone Photography

Synopsis: Take a good shot and make it better. During our smartphone photography session, we will learn about the camera settings on a smartphone. We will also explore photo editing using Google Photos and Snapseed. A seminar handout is attached to this message for your convenience. Note: Paper handouts will likely not be available at the general meeting.

Please feel free to invite all of your friends and family to this special event on Wednesday, September 18th, at 7:00 p.m. Also, please share this post with anyone that might be interested in attending. We hope to have a fantastic turnout for our traveling guests!
